i've been there once before and it's only a short walk from newtown train station. sooooo....
*runs to check train timetables*
....it takes like 6 minutes to get from central station to newtown station and they're pretty regular, like every few minutes, so it shouldn't take long. i dunno where this pancake place is though...

if we had to get on at circular quay it's 14 mins and 10 mins from town hall...

so i think this sounds good. just need a time now :)

Newtown is just outside the city. Lotsa funky cafe's and lotsa bars and music venues. From memory it takes less than 10 mins to get there.

ok.. well... newtown = simple, u have the station... walk up and u have enmore... along enmore street there are plenty of places..

but if u guys go in to the city, ill just meet up with u at newtown later on then i guess

hey il just jump in mid topic...not sure of any pancake places in newtown but there is a real good pizza place a few shops down from the enmore or a real nice thai place if thai is your thing...its the best..! and for anyone going out after newtown hotel is the place to be on a friday night then catch the party bus into the city...but newie hotel is a majority gay club but its a cool place to hang out. i cant picture anything else in enmore at the moment aside from takeaway shops, pubs and record store or clothes shops...sorry im not much of a help

Be there a bit early before the doors open and there's always someone selling. Whether they're selling at cost price or scalping is another thing altogether.
