Is anyone going to missys soldout gig at wollongong uni? just wondering as theres nothing up about it. This is my first post, heh. Ive been on missy dot org a few times but hadnt joined up. I have heaps of missy guitar tabs (that are probably a bit more detailed than the ones already up) and will post them eventually too!

now...as for the gig....SHE PLAYED SIMPLE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

that was like the only song i hadn't heard live (although now its you just like me cause im good in bed) and my goal for all the gigs was to hear it and she played it!!! WOOOO :) I got it on video too. i tried recording a few more songs too but was told to put the camera away :(

ok so the songs she played....the whole album bar they weren't there + peachy, hold me tight :D , simple things, cactus, drowning (the set list had falling but a few people yelled out drowning so i think she did this instead of doing falling), drop the mirror and beautiful mind. t'was a good set list cause i hadn't heard a few of these songs on this tour yet. ashame i couldnt get a couple of them on vid. oh well :)

but yeah the gig was cool. missy wasn't in a super happy mood but she was still cool. everyone was quite loud though. and we were soooo close to the stage!! we had to like crank our necks to look up lol.

haha and milko and i didnt do our dance off.....i'll get you next time milko!

Sheesh, Thanks Yaz, yeah the gig was good, not to best i've ever seen, but still good. got a willow tree dance in there a little bit with Serena Ryder. If you like Jazz, Soul and all that Serena Ryder is your girl!! she has the most amazing voice and moves! Go Serena! Go Missy too i guess!

i don't know if that was the reason, i'm just guessing....

it could've been that she was drinking at the enmore ones.....or maybe she was the same at both and cause i was drinking got different vibes....or maybe she was the same at both and i have bad judgement....who knows?? ;)

it was no big deal....the concert was tops!! she played simple things :D

Im new here, just thought i would say hi! I went to missy wollongong gig on thursday, it was amazing :D I was 4th row and saw some of you front row people who knew all the words to all the songs, im guessing some of you post on here. I saw the 2 little purple mice (i think thats what they were) there is a picture of them in the fan pictures. Just wondering what are they all about- is there a story behind them?? I got my photo taken for the wollongong uni site but its not up yet. Does anybody have any photos from the gig? Anyway nice to talk to you all.

Well dang, I wish I'd joined this forum before I went to the UOW performance... might have bumped into some of you guys. Anyway, it was bloody tops!!

I was way up near the front... really tall guy... I remember being a metre or 2 away from the girls with the toilet paper message lol. Oh and if anyone heard it, I shouted out "Peachy!" when missy was explaining the follow up song to Special Two (at least I think it was Special Two)... damn... I've been waiting to hear Peachy for like 4 months or something... last time was when Missy did the opening for the Finn Bros concert a while back. *sigh*

Anyway, if any of youz recognise me, good for you. :)

P.S. Anyone know when her next album's coming out?

Muahahahah! That's an advantage of being really tall; nothing gets in your way. Disadvantage is you seem to get in the way of everybody. And it wasn't THAT much space... geez :D

Hey! I totally forgot! How awesome is this... Did you guys (and girls) notice how the tickets had a number at the bottom of them? (If you took a ticket home with you, you'll see it printed there). Anyway, I saw some people holding tickets when I was in the line to get in, and they had like 551 for 551st ticket or 394 for 394th ticket sold... I had 5!! 5th ticket sold!! I know it's not 1st or 2nd or 3rd or EVEN 4th... but it's still a damn good achievement (Talk about early bird gets the worm). I was like WOOOHOO!! But then they took my ticket at the door :( Now all I've got is stupid ticket 352 which I was given was I was leaving. :'(
