its a bread that u already know the name of, so there is no need for me to repeat it. you feel the need to ask these questions as you want to try n get me to make mistakes, not gonna happen :)

*speaks in a sad voice* I wasn't trying to catch u out i just dont know what is in the bread and why it should be good for me *sniff*

to jolene - u just have to wait for cheyne to come online and the compliments will flow

to hinny - practice under varying conditions, also the music thing is really just in ur mind, it kind of relaxes you more and giving you more confidence. when your playing you should just recall that u can play, and the outside conditions are really not a factor... the balls are the same size (generally nehow, u can have varying sizes.. u know what i mean) and the tables will be similar.

just dont say to urself not to think bout it, cause its funny.. then u will, just try hit the zone n focus on the pool

Swede, if you could have anything you wanted in the whole world, what would it be and why?

thats a hard one, and there is not one thing in the world i would want... ill explain myself, i will have wanted to have experienced life so that i was content in what i had done/achieved and seen in the world. then i would love to raise a family, and that would be where i feel i would be most happy within myself, but i know that my peak happiness wouldnt come without knowing i tried everything i wanted to try.

Swedey, a hypothetical for you....

Girl meets boy, they become friends and start to think there might be something there but then girl gets scared/confused and backs out and decides she doesn't want anything. Boy is most likely not in the best of moods towards girl and girl feels pretty crappy over the whole thing, feeling that she led boy on during this first few weeks of getting to know each other and discovering possible feelings. So where does girl go from here? She liked being friends with boy and wants to know how to say sorry for putting him in that position. Any advice?

the girl should go up to the guy and be upfront, say, yes i was searching for something but well, i realised that it isnt for me right now, a relationship with you wouldnt work. say that being friends would be awesome, and that if he wanted to have her in his life in that way, that would be wicked wild. be sure to tell the guy the true feelings, and so he wouldnt feel led on as much, tell him sorry if it appears that he was led on, but it wasnt the case, you went in truely thinking there may be something, but then realised there wasnt.

i think in this case, honesty is the best policy, that is of course, i have the correct information right here :)

and to V - freud would suggest there is, but personally i know of no completed studies that suggest this.

No it was more a statement swede.

Surething... I don't really think a child should be getting breastfed at 4 years old. I remember one day in school my teacher was recounting a meeting thing she had had a few days earlier for something or rather and one woman there had her 4ish y.o daughter there with her and the kid runs up and goes "boobie mummy boobie".... come on! where's it gotta end... i started freakin school when i was 4! I say no later than 2 years old at the most....by that age they are feeding themselves anyway.

PS. i know i'm not swede but i just thought i'd have my say.

swede why are so many good looking guys gay?

cause they are feminine... they care bout how they look

noo - because blokes are worried bout their masculinity

VV - cause they are a marketing ploy as they wanna cash in on a sure thing (no pun intended ;)) and they dont care so much about quality as much as quantity sold. also they are generally used by kids who will often give them an extra beating or 2 :)

cant change them, but u can stop eating through resisting ur urges, it is definitely possible

also, best way is through eating a nice diet, by diet i dont mean eat less, just substitute the foods ur using, and exercise, and if u want those specific areas, focus on exercises that target those spots

Surething - Unfortunately, there is no magic wand or I would once again be a size 8! LOL

But working yourself up to exercising every day will work wonders, even a 30 minute walk every day (make sure there is a hill!) and changing your eating patterns to accomodate healthier foods, especially snacks..... Since starting my office job I have had a tendency to have a munch in the afternoon which has resulted in me putting on a few kilos *grumpy at self* however, now I eat a little more healthy lunch so i dont get the hunger/cravings of an afternoon and if i do, i keep a big tub of ready-made fruit salad in the fridge to have a bit of that instead of maybe a pack of chips or something equally as bad....
Also, on the exercise side, find someone else who has similar goals to yourself so you can motivate each other. And if you, like me, are the one that doesn't get out of bed at 6am in the morning to go for a run you should give yourself a huge smack on the bum!

exercise sucks .. but i go to the gym between 10-12 times a week! The only thing I go by is if I eat more energy than I burn I will turn into a fat ass! So I burn more energy than I eat, and it keeps me good!

and you probably know this, but by exercising on an empty stomach first thing in the morning means you are burning fat, not food, and then your metabolism will speed up for the rest of the morning and you will be less hungry!

yep it will, i meant that working out on an empty stomach will burn fat not food (then I should have had a full stop) and carried on blabbering. I never majored in english (obviously)

Also its important to do weights, as every pound of muscle your body has you automatically burn up so many calories (can't remember the exact amount right now), thats why men can get away with eating more coz they have more muscle.

there have been numerous studies done to see whether it is better to exercise in the morning or afternoon/night and the results are quite varied and inconclusive. either is good, as long as you're doing some form of exercise :)

why is the sky blue?

swede
04-08-2005, 02:52 PM
because the atmosphere absorbs the short wavelengths of light, ie blue, and is reflected in all directions in the sky or "scattered" across the sky. the further away the sky is, the more blue it will be. on the otherhand, light directly from the sun is white.

does that help u in any way?

Will I go to hell for laughing at disabled people?

well that is a good question stuie - but a question that i can answer for you.

the plain and simple answer is yes... as to why? let me continue

first of all - if u think laughing at someone in a wheelchair is funny? well - then ur doomed for hell mate, just think of seinfeld - look at what happens when u only park in a handicap spot, all hell breaks loose, so just think that laughing is at least 100 times worse then that. yep hell it is mate.

on other disabled people - u may be laughing at them, but they are laughing at u. speaking of handicap spots, think of this, ur driving about a full carpark looking for somewhere to park ur car... they are near by laughing at ur feeble attempts whilst they just head up to their car, with an empty spot on the side thinkin "ha suck on that one ****er". not to mention they understand u are laughing at them and know ur doomed for hell so it propells their laughter making it so enjoyable that ur almost want to be handicapped! really - uve got the rough end of the stick mate, uve got the short straw in this deal!

what does this have to do with anything? absolutely nothing.

that answer ur question well enough mate?

Why is this years Big Day Out the worst lineup in history, yet I'm still going for only the second time?

I already know the answer, you just have to get it right.

swede
11-01-2006, 09:15 PM
if u know the answer why are you asking?

this isnt the worst line up in history, unless of course u are talking about ur own personal preference. it varies amongst people. so for u - its because u dont like the music by the bands this year as compared to other years

u are going for only the second time cause u were too young to go previous years and u are going because u love ur music, want to see a few bands that u still like and are hopeful in being surprised by other bands - not to mention its a full day with music so its gotta be good

The last time I went I was 12. The main reason I'm going this year is because I wanted to see AFI again, but they are shit and pulled out. So the only reason I'm going now is because I'm 18 and I can drink, so I should be able to make a good day of it.

My mistake, I just had a look. It's the worst lineup since 1999.

Oh greatest of kings,

Why do they make golf so boring to watch on TV?

because free to air seem to love commercials taking away from the flow of the sport. it is exciting with the right commentators and the right channel showing the right things at the right time

well mick jagger once said that well "you cant always get what you want" - but it doesnt really fit perfectly with this scenario. now, lets take the doing nothing when ur busy. when ur busy, u are obviously doing a lot of things, hence being busy. whilst doing a lot of things, there is a thing called tiredness, its one of phenomenons that is a part of human nature, so whilst u are tired, u feel like doing nothing. so therefore that will explain case 1. case 2 of wanting to do something whilst ur doing nothing is due to the phenomenon of boredom. u see we are social beings, and we love to interact and be active in our life. sooooooo, u are in a state of boredom, something as we as humans see as a negative reaction to our current status as an individual, u wish to change this negativity into something positive and constructive, hence wanting to do something.

so therefore, we can see the conundrum has been answered by ur dearest king.
