Im just wondering if anyone would like to share what they think about Missy's Album 'The Sound of White'.

I personally love it! I love the lyrics to all of her songs!

Does anyone have a favourite song? I cant say I have 1 favourite one... I like them all!

scar and casualty has to be the best songs off the album.

my personal opinion: the lyrics are a bit sad and soft, prob 'designed' more for the female audience, nevertheless, missy's musical talent cant be overlooked. she's awesome on the piano.

overall, it's a great album for the people after a breakup? not the kind of CD i'd listen when i'm in the car!

Hahahah well I listen to Missy in the car!! what better place to sing out loud but in the car where no-one can hear you! I also listen to her when im walking to work on my mp3 player and basically when im not doing anything else, im listening to her!

I really like all of her songs... each time I listen to them, i find another one I like more and more! I think that I can relate to some of the songs too. I really like Nightminds, Sound of White, You werent there, ahhh the list goes on! My mum really likes The cactus that found the beat! hahaha and so does my baby brother.. he is 5 and he claps along!

My friends daughter is 3 and her favourite song is Casualty.. she knows all the words, except she sings.. I dont wanna be.. going to make a cup of tea! its so cute! She gets demanding that we put her song on and we take it in turns with other songs... so every 2nd song we listen to is casualty. Rather amusing!

As soon as I can get this board updated (in a few days) then I will create a poll for this topic of what is your favourite song!

I too love The Sound of White. The more I listen to it the more I love it. The lyrics, her voice.... She's just amazing. I've had her music constantly in my head for the past week, I think.

I love all the songs, but my favourite is probably The Special Two. It's such a beautiful song.

Ummm do you mean photos? if you mean photos then you can use the 'Image' button as long as the images are somewhere on the internet and are a jpg image!

My favourite song on the album would have to be 'This is how it goes'. I love her jazzy numbers! She needs to make a jazz compilation of some sort, that would be cool!

My favourite songs would have to be Special Two and Don't Ever followed closely by Any Day Now and The River followed closely by the rest haha. I'm a sucker for slow ballads that are often sad and give you goosebumps.

I love the lyrics, the originality, the overall collaboration, etc, etc. but I her voice is what does it for me. It's just so hypnotic yet so clear and distinctly unique. I dunno whether to smile or cry half the time.

Howdy everyone,
i really like the album. Its honest, the sound is great and Missy's voice is amazing.

I was lucky enough to catch her live supporting Pete Murray and she played a few of the album tracks which i had never heard before and the quality of the songs blew me away.

Id have to say that this week, my favorite song is Nightminds.

It's great, but maybe a little overproduced, but maybe that's just because my favourite Missy release is the self titled EP. Meh. Fave songs would have to be Scar, 10 Days, This Is How it goes and Nightminds.

Yeah... I'm with arienettte in saying that it's a bit overproduced in order to fit the radio. But I still love Missy. And it's great to see someone with such enormous talent finally getting the recognition she deserves.

My friends daughter (who is 3) sings along to Missy and her favourite song is Casualty.. she says its 'her song' and we have to listen to 'her song' then one of the others and then 'her song' and then on of ours... u get the gist!

She also listens to Missy when she goes to bed! How cute!

But as for the cup of tea.... Well Jordan also sings 'make a cup of tea'... hehehehe

well i just ordered the cd from her official website so havent had much chance to listen to her stuff only just found her today so ive had an explorer window open and been listening to the album on the website hee hee made all my friends listen too they are just as impressed
so far id say my favourites are Anyday Now and Scar
