missy higgins melb gaslight fri 10-09-2004

i'm a dude who listens to mainly alternative, gurngy, rock kinda music. first time i heard missy was on tirple j a couple of months ago, her music's just awesome because she writes her own songs (unlike most of today's artists) and she plays piano like she was born to play it!

anyways, i got the chance to see missy at a special appearance at gaslight records in melbourne on friday , 10-09-2004. she played several songs: scar, all for believing etc.

i had to skip a uni class so i can queue up at gaslight 1 hour early.

the catch was, you had to buy missy's cd's from gaslight. with 3 copies of the scar EP and the album that i brought from JB, i brought 1 scar EP at gaslight so that i can get in. anyways, missy rocked up at 4pm bang on time. she's a total stunner too! http://missyhiggins.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

after she played a few songs, i had to line up again to get my CD's signed. i asked if she mind to pose in a photo with me, she was cool with that, and boy she had made my day!
