This is probably posted in another thread...but basically you will have to upload them to an image host like Photo Bucket (http://www.photobucket.com). Then you copy the URL of the photo, click on "Insert Image" when you're posting your message and paste the URL into the box that comes up.

Gotta be philasophical really can still cycle, swim,etc ( anything non impact) and will be able to run/jog soon, just not stuff like footy and rugby bit down now coz just had it confirmed recently but had a good run. Played everything and was lucky enough to be good enough to do it at a reasonable level was never gonna set the world alight but probably more than most get the chance to do

You don't say anything. Or just agree with them. They do it to gain attention, and pity. The best way is to agree with them, then they realise they're not getting the attention so they stop. Admittedly they might go rank about you not caring and shit for a while, but generally they snap out of it. Of course you don't wanna go too far, and start bagging them out and going "die bitch, die"....that might actually push them a little too far!


Sorry to hear about your friend though. Try to get them some counselling or something...it's tough.

Hey whiskey babe :)! Howz u?! Hmm about ur post... The rockabilly kid is pretty much right with what hes saying. It is more than likely an attention ploy and you have every right to feel a bit ticked due to the selfishness that becomes a corallory of that. Its even more likely that she wont do it. Most people that suffer from anxiety or depression will do so privately. The isolation is so intense that the thought of anyone else understanding is deemed impossible hence why for the most part those that actually do follow through with it generally dont seek help. I did hear recently of a case where an individual did seek assistance for their trauma only to be rejected by the institutions and then commited suicided as a result of that. I suppose this reinforces the logic that intense pain and anxiety is extremely isolating and that witnesses (be it instititional or common) simply dont understand.

In this way the problem lies within ur friend and her ability to get over herself and look at the bigger picture. I have nodoubts that as a friend ull help her do that but essentially it has to come from within her. Support her, bite ur tounge if necessary and Im sure she'll get over this phase.

Whiskey, I had a friend like that. In the end I just had to cut all ties with them until they worked it out for themselves. It was too hard for me to constantly tell them not to go through with it...by grandually distancing myself they woke up to themselves. *Hugs* it's not easy, but yeah I agree with what others have said, ultimately it has to be up to them. Support them, but don't let them bring you down.
