i went with a friend and she was really amazing...of course..
she did about 6 songs then left stage but we called for an encore which she came back and did 4 more songs!!!
we wanted to get our cd signed and stuff but the line was really huge so we left to get lunch...
wen we came back to the store to listen to her cd we realised i was standing next to her base player and we were talking really loud about how goos she was ans wat songs she wrote..then we saw she was about 3meters away....
so i said thanks and everything for the show and told her how good she was.. she was so friendly and modest....now we are completely dedicated fans....being down to earth really does pay off..

Thanks for that Kylie!!!

I totally agree with what you say about being down to earth!

Its really good that Missy is down to earth and so lovely, not only when performing, but also in person!

Thats exactly what fans love and thats exactly the way we love it! I certainly wouldnt be going to gigs all round the countryside if she was a stuck up snobb... I really hate these artists who lap up the media and then have this *im too good for you* attitude that they carry with them everywhere!

Good on Missy!

Cheers

I was at the same concert, only i wasn't able to stay and listen to her play because I'm having chemo, and at certain times durring my treatment my immune system is very low, so i'm not allowed around crowds of people. However while i was debating with my mum about whether i could just go up for a little while, i was buying the CD, and the guy who was selling me the CD, who was the manager i think, asked what the problem was, we explained and then he said he'd see what he could do. Anyway they let me go up stairs and listen while Missy did her sound check, and then she signed my CD as well. She was really nice, and so was her tour manager, Emma, and the 78 Records manager was very sweet as well, they all made my day, made my year actually http://missyhiggins.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
