Hey guys...

Studying for exams that are coming up and I am slowly going brain dead...

So I decided to take my mind off work and have a little fun...

So here I am.. sitting at my computer desperately trying to finish off this 2500 word essay and failing miserably...

Anyway, as my first post, thought I would let you all know that I am Missy's little cuzz.. Her closest cousin by age.. im almost 20 and she has just turned 21, so I guess you could say we were pretty close as kids...

Im pretty sure that should serve as a good ice breaker on forums dedicated to her.. :P

anyway its nice to see that she has such a dedicated fan base!

Before Missy started making a name for herself, what were/are her other interests? If she wasn't singing, what do you think she would be doing now?

Well, for a majority of when Missy was at high school she was at Geelong Grammar as a boarder so you can imagine that I saw her very very rarely.. But I do know that while she was there she played alot of music for school competitions and also wrote alot of lyrics... She was a music fanatic... and she loved Acid Jazz.. basicly her whole family loves music so she was exposed to it at a really young age.. She was great at English too or so I heard!

Was also voted the best looking girl at Geelong College in 2000!

If Missy wasnt singing?

Well thats a really hard question to answer because she won Triple J unearthed when she was in year 12 so it really distracted er from her work... and she went on to do her VCE exams and... well... modestly.. she didnt go very well... but that is because she didn't need to, she took a risk and lay all her cards on the table... so I really couldnt tell you what she would be doing now if not for being famous... she would probably be in her brothers band? Maybe still travelling europe?

I really have no idea, but when I see her next at christmas I will be sure to show her!

She comes on MSN messenger every now and then... if I see her soon I will tell her to visit i as well!

Hey Gobbo, I've read some of your answers to people's questions on this forum and the other and so thought i'd ask one myself..
I was just wondering what missy's background is? I mean, what nationality is she? She almost looks like she could have a little bit of asian in her or something? I'm probably wrong, but i'm just interested is all..

Oh, and thanks so much for filling us in on what some of missy's songs are about... always interesting to find out.. think the one that shocked me the most was the fact that 'the special two' was about her sister! I think a lot of people would have been shocked because even she said people assumed it had a romantic basis... interesting anyway... Cheers once again, and it's great to have you on board!
