Just some suggestions about the forum

Hey there, here are some suggestions on what i think we could do with the forum

first i think an "other music" section would work well, where threads to do with other artists n stuff could go in...

also a art/literature one could be set up so people could share their poetry and art works etc to others, and so people who are interested will actually see them n what not

also now with so many people, probably the option for people to make "sticky" threads could go, cause they seem to clutter the board, thats my view. i guess you would know the all important threads, such as mass tour news, ur board comps n stuff are good to have sticky, but there are many that are just there to clutter the space... thats my view nehow

also, should maybe put a lil reminder for people to try not repeat threads n such...

um i think thats all i can think of for now, they are just some thoughts nehow that could be very useful as this board is getting bigger all the time n such.

totally agree swede. i think it could be more organised.

i think a "read this first" link on the first page is necessary and should let people know the rules and what not. one of the main rules should be to do a search before posting so duplicate threads are not made. so many. it should also probably have something in there about swearing :rolleyes:, especially in the missy higgins section. and yes....i know i should take note of my language.

but yeah, just suggestions :)

Thanks swede for your suggestions! As you are all aware, the forum got a bit out of hand! We have made a few changes we hope will improve things on the forum and are always open to any suggestions you have to make this a better place! Swede, ur extra forums have been added!

Lozzy - there will be a rules clause on the front page shortly!

Thats all well and good for you to say Hinny, but the person in question has a different IP address whenever they log on, therefore its VERY difficult to do an IP ban. Im sure there is a way, but Astro is really busy at the moment and hasnt been onto the forum in a while and im doing my best to hold it together!

I have instead individually phoned all members who this incident related to and came to an agreement and came up with sollutions!

Tribal, ive re-instated your post count. Anyone else who lost post counts and that cares, send me a pvt msg and they will be re-instated!

Gotta say the forum is looking so much better now, its all refreshed and with hot signitures like mine and tribals on such great artists its looking HOT :D

Thanks Loz - I will have Astro look into it! Yes it would make it alot easier - Im on dial up now - so it takes forever to get photos up!
