um, im really scared about this cos yousendit is taking so long and last time i tried to send an album it wouldnt work - which is one of the reasons i chose to do an EP. i might as well get this thread crankin even if the upload is troublesome....so without further adue:

The Early November is a rock band from somewhere in America and they are pretty freakin emo. now that this has been established, dont think of them as an emo band - just cos the singer writes sad songs is not the bands fault and does not deter from teh quality of their music. i've chosen the EP for two reasons - 1, its smaller to send, 2, the album is slightly gay and more emo and most of my fabourite songs by them are from the EP (if you like it, download 'the course of human life' from the album)

i'll do my own review later (im about to go out for tea), but yeah hopefully this crappy upload will work while im gone....enjoy

u are a smart cookie lozzy, i was thinking of that actually, but yeah you do have it on the dvd. but it is working. i've uploaded the first half lol. so i'm gonna put the second half up now.

for lozzy- 1.every nights another story, 2. i want to hear you sad, 3. all we ever needed, 4. sunday drive, 5. take time and find, 6, ashala rock, 7. come back, 8. this happens, 9. ever so sweet, 10. we write the wrong.

ps. in the tracklisting on their website it says there are only 8 songs on this EP, but for the whole time i've been listening to them i could have sworn that ever so sweet and this happens were on it lol, so i sneaked em in there. this happens is a really good song. :)

i am so cold that i am sitting inside blowing fog out of my mouth. i am bored, but not bored enough to do my english to i'll do a review on THE EARLY NOVEMBER - w00t! THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS!!!!

WHEN TE DOG BITES, WHEN THE BEE STINGS, WHEN IM FEELIN SAD - I SIMPLY LISTEN TO MY FAVOURITE BAND AND SOAK UP MY MISERY TIL IM GLAD!!!!

everynights another story - thi sa song you cannot get sick of and a perfect example of my emo rock theory. listen to the melody - pretty rocky, pretty cooool. listen to the lyrics - pretty woe is me. one of my fav's - GO!! GO!! GO!!!!!!

I want to hear you sad - i think this is one of their most popular songs. its usually a fav for people but i dont really see why. its a bit poppy. i have a vid of this song and the base player is an absolute psycho - so funny. but yeah i dont really have a huge connection to this song.

all we ever needed - a sappy sweet sad song. yeah i think its really good.

sunday drive - this is my personal favourite, but other people dont really like it lol. i just really like how it builds up from this sad sad stuff and builds up til he's yelling and desperate and then he's just like, oh well, i give up. and im sorry i have to quote my favourite bit
"twelve days gone by since i have saw you last, i'll give this one more try, i'll give it all my best,
and i'll ask what could you be doing that is so much fun? without me by your side? WITHOUT ME BY YOUR SIDE!"

take time and find - a bit on the rockier side here. i really like it but then it gets to the chorus and gets a bit gay. i think the chorus is a bit pooftery otherwise this song would be acer.

ashala rock - i think this song is sooo cute! i'll post a pic of the singer in here soon. he's such a little boy, you could just picture him and his first love. just yeah really cute. there is a song, i thought it was this one but its not it goes "its so much fun to be in love!" a billion times and yeah he's just cute when he's excited.

come back - when i first heard this it reminded me of elemeno p. listening to it now, i dont know why. yeah. pretty emo, light, not incredibly impressive. god ace enders is a poofter.

this happens - this is one of my favourites.
"i forget how you broke my heart, or how you find yourself
continually falling for someone else......dear"
"every time something like this happens, you always make it seem LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG! to you"
yeah - unexplainable goodness.

ever so sweet - their most popular acoustic. i think this was the song that made me fall in love with this band. could not get more emo if you tried. haha this is my ringtone actually, only its speeded up so it sounds funny. accidently kelly street, down there at the pawn shop, ever so sweet - one of those songs where like one line gets stuck in your head for ages.

we write the wrong - i appreciate this song more because since it goes for ten minutes its never made it onto any of my cds so i dont listen to it as much but its an awesome song. its a bit annoying that they fill it with crap though, like people talking saying "names bob, got a wife and 3 kids, love jesus, etc" that and the fact that the song is 3 minutes with 6 minutes of bullshit, but if you just take the goodness out of the good bits, ita a killer song. (im thinking that bob stuff might be a different song lol *checking* yeah thats from a song on the album)

k. i give em a ten (haha t.e.n.) simply cos they are my favourite but if im judging solely on this album.....9.8 haha. tell me what you think.

A review by idiot bocks on:
The surly whinge-ember.

Every night’s another story – this song I got sick of. This is what we need, another frizzy haired kid writing about feelings. Boo, flicking, hoo.
“did you hear its all my fault again” ARGH!! Well isn’t this typical emo lyrics. Easiest songs to write. I swear it. If this wasn’t a lyric in a song it would be the words ‘oh my gosh I’m always shit, shit sad me. I’m so mad at everyone, omg why wont my girlfriend talk to me omg what did I do, omg I’m so to blame omg omg I need to go write a song” coming from some little kid dressed in black in a dark room talking to his tears.

”why I’m here all alone again” sod off. Sook

I want to hear you sad – sounds like the song before it

all we ever needed – sounds like the song before it

Sunday drive – sounds like the song before it

take time and find - sounds like the song before it

ashlar rock - sounds like the song before it

come back - sounds like the song before it

this happens - sounds like the song before it

ever so sweet - sounds like the song before it

we write the wrong - sounds like the song before it

I give the surly chuckmember 3 out of 100. emo shouldn’t be produced. Write it all you want, but don’t flippin’ sing it on a stage, or onto a disk, for the love of the people around you. Keep that shit quiet eh?

every nights another story - i dont mind the beat in the song, but after a few listens i think it becomes stale. but yeh i dont mind it and i reckon i could listen to it here n there

i just want you sad - the intro sounds too typical for my liking of today's music. the style is very typical of the emo trend, nothing is ground breaking or different.

all we ever needed - again... the slow intro verse - heavier screamier chorus - to slow again for verse ---- this was a method that worked for nirvana but barely anyone else

sunday drive - the music isnt too bad, but i dont think the voice suits mellow acoustics, same as dashboard confessional, but hey a lot of people are into it

take time to find - the intro is cool i think, i like the heavy opening riff, the singing suits a more rockin song, sounds more like gyroscope or something like that. i dont mind the song, not a big fan of the bridge though, but yeh its not too bad

ashala rock - the very start of the song, sounds like it could lead into a cool metal tune... then the soft singing comes in and i start losing interest, the beat throughout isnt too bad, though the chorus is much the same as previous tunes. yeh i dont mind the riff though, although fairly generic.

come back - and easy listen, but again i dont like the voice with mellow tune.

this happens - the song reminds me of something with numbers, and i dont mind it as a rock song to listen to here n there. probably my fave of all the songs, the riff isnt too bad. yeh i dont mind this song.

ever so sweet - much the same as the previous mellow acoustic tunes

we write the wrong - similar again, the slow - heavy - slow, the songs dont vary too much which makes the listen throughout difficult.

overall when rating, comparing this to say the 6.5 or so i gave sublime id give this a 3.5. so yeh that would be it. ratings are pretty hard cause it is so hard for me to give out a 10 or what not. not to mention the style of music that the early november play isnt really one i listen to on a regular basis.

although i do thankyou kez for putting it up and making again dif to the previous 2 STML choices :)
