The Falls, Lorne, Victoria

Ok, since its coming up... I thought I would put this one in the callendar also...

Here is some info for anyone who is interested:

Anyway... if anyone is interested, I will be driving down from Queensland.. I have 4 spare seats, so we can either pick u up on the way (only if its on the way) or go from QLD... anyway... we will be driving down there and camping for the 2 days and then heading back!

Im not sure how much time I have off work, so I dont know dates for going down and coming back... but it would be a nice fun road trip for anyone that is interested!

Let me know as seats in my car are limited...

It will be a blast!

Its all ages, so thats another advantage! I know the tickets are $100, but that includes the camp site for both nights and Missy is also playing both days!

Anyway...

I look forward to hearing from everyone if they are going! Should be a blast!

Although Abbie Cardwell was her support act, and Abbie really rocks.... has anyone ever heard of her?

It was a nice venue, but yeah.... the parking is a bit steep though! We went on a road-trip and the best road-trips are not planned to carefully, that way it works out the cheapest way possible! On they way down we slept in the car at a truckie stop and after the gig we slept in the carpark under Sky City Casino... then wernt to the airport to drop someone off and then headed back to Melbourne again... for another gig.. lol

Yeah.. I have her albums.. They are great! I think i have a few Ep's.

I have one ablum singed and I also have some footage of her supporting Vanessa.

Also, the only place I wouldnt travel to see my fav artist is prob overseas.. i have thought about it... If I had the money then I would.

I try to think of it like this... I would never have been to the many places that I have been to and seen and met ppl, If it werent for road trips... They are great! I look back and remember it all and remember all the laughs and funny things we did!

As for Falls...I didnt know about Tassie..

On Missy's website it says she is at Falls in Victoria both days!

Ok, Ive worked things out for me Falls road trip...

If anyone wants to jump in my car, then be my guest, but these are my travel plans..

Im leaving early boxing day morning from Brisbane! Then driving to Melbourne! Then depending on how much time I have left till Falls, I will spend some time in Melb... Then off to Falls... Then from Falls, straight back to Brisbane...

If anyone is from Melb and wants a lift, then I can stop in at Melb on my way back too!

Anyhoo.... if there is anyone along my journey that would like a lift or to share a tent etc.. then let me know!

Nat and I are going to this gig, but we need to get back to the Airport (Melbourne - Tullamarine) as our flight leaves at 7:00am. We cant hire a car because we are both under 21.. mind you im only a few months under!! GRRR... anyway... Does anyone know how we can get from Lorne back to the Airport in time to catch the plane to Hobart?

Ive tried looking at timetables, but being from Brisbane, they really arent helping me!

Ive managed to find out that we can catch a bus from Falls to Lorne from 12:00 midnight - 2:00am..

But then Im stuck....

How do we get from Lorne ot the Airport (Tullamarine) in time to catch our 7:00am flight?

Also, we will be arriving in Melbourne (Tullamarine) on 30th (morning 8:30)... does anyone know the easiest way to get to Falls from there?

Any help would be muchly appreciated!

Lucky I got my tickets in time then! It would be easy to Ticket Scalp for many gigs, but the only thing is you would have to have the money in the first place... something that not too many people have just lying around.

when something first sells out people get worried and go to ebay straight away so prices are ridiculous. if you wait a bit the ebay prices should go down. it's happened a few times, more recently homebake tickets. you can pick one of them up for $120 on ebay now when before they were going for $250.

Well howdy from MELBOURNE!!!!! Nat and I have had many adventures over the past 2 days and its only day 2... one more day one more gig, one more state to go :)

ahhhhhhhhhh falls was sooooo awesome!!! ill give you a run down of events...

got there 29th, think i saw tribal??, went to bed early, got up early 30th, looked around, had a jam, went to main stage, stayed there till beautiful girls, watched them front row, missy came on and was soooo fricken good!, had a chat to shenelle and nat, watched cat empire (still front row), went got alcohol, drank it quickly, saw jbt (dont remember much), in the mosh for living end, crowd surfed, made out with a sexy guy from melb, went to check out kid kenobi, face planted, crashed and didnt wake up till 10, too hot to do anything, watched comedians, headed for the mosh, somehow got front row, watched xavier and spiderbait, back to get grog, drank quickly while singing missy out the front of the toilets and telling people to join the forum lol, watched black keys, happy new year!!, found another sexy guy from adelaide, watched hilltop hoods, headed back to tent, made out with another melbourne dude, crashed at 5am, went home next day.

so yeah it was awesome :D

didnt manage to get vid from front though cause my camera wouldve got wrecked as they kept spraying us with the hose. i gave it to a friend who was further back and she got a bit but all you can really see is hands and peoples heads. might be able to get the audio from it though?? ill check it out

Falls was bloody awesome, Missy, Beautiful Girls, Xavier and Hilltop Hoods were definetly the highlights for me.

For the peeps that were at Lorne, Missy went absoulely nutz for one song, anyone remember which one it was?
