wat r ur biggest fears?

ok so everyone at some time or another has been afraid of something.........so wat was it?huh?

here's a few of mines:
1. heights
2. falling from heights
3. falling from heights into water......lol i really dont like heights!!!
4. touching metal door handles or car doors cause i always get zapped from them!
5. n of course.....the dark.......but only in my own house (im fine just walking round the street in the middle of the night but my house scares me)!

-people who cant be themselves!
-wondering if this is all life is? scares me because im not sure

People. Not like agrophobia, but a fear of what people can do to eachother, ie kidnapping, murder, rape etc. Its the only reason i worry about shadows in the dark (Who could be hiding there?), dont like taxi's (alone in a car with a stranger, warning bells anyone?) etc. Though this fear doesnt stop me doing much.

I'm also not to fond of spiders, but if you've had one crawl on your face, i dont think you would be either.

I used to hate catching cabs alone, not a complete phobia but a little one. I kinda got over it recently last year but it didnt help when everytime I decided to catch a cab the driver was a total freak or annoying idiot!!

But I did freak last time i was in the cab going somewhere about 30 min. away and when I got a little wierded out that the guy had locked the doors in the car once i got in, and then I looked up at the security Id and the id was some asian bloke but the driver was some huge old aussie bloke, well i wasnt exactly dry in the pants :rolleyes:

:Last year, back when i was in Perth, i caught the train everywhere and anywhere. The freaks that live on the perth train system are worrying. usually i can just shrug and get over it, but the last one scared the living crap out of me. too close for my liking. ( however perth has a brilliant public transport system. one misses the reliable system when they live here)

As for taxis- the ones here in townsville arent too bad, but both times i've had someone with me for part of the journey, but the taxis in perth were unreliable- one left my sister, aged 13 outside a notorious area for 3 hours and Still never came. Mum had to get her after work- by then it was midnight.

you can actually purchase prescription goggles...not ur exact script , but the closest to it... say your a -1.75 on ur Left and- 2.25 on ur right... u can get goggles with a 2.0 script... i never tried it i rather swim in sunnies :p

I got mine when i was in grade 4 (WA/QLD year 5) and was the first in the grade to wear glasses. I remember i burst into tears, and some of the other people where making fun of me. It took me until year 11 to stop trying to con mum into getting me contacts. I got the black thin square frames in my piccie, and some awesome blue tinted glasses, which i wore all the time, except at work. kinda anastasia style, but with cooler frames. Now the blue sunnies are gone, but i still love my black frames.

Oh, and i'm studying marine biology, and hoping to get my dive cert soon, so yea, i can understand the blindness in water ( is that a fish? no its a piece of seaweed... crud!) but i've asked around and contacts under goggles seems to be the way most people handle it.

I must admit, it sucks playing soccer with glasses- i cant headbutt the ball!
