Absolutely!! The trick is to keep breathing is my favorite Garbage tune, but They have loads od excellent tunes, and their albums are all worth the buy.
I almost went to a live show along side Prodigy, but sth happened, and i missed it... but I heard that Garbage ruled and Prodigy sucked.

rumours are that Garbage is splitting =\ hopefully they won't cancel their aussie tour, like they cancelled their european ones!

FROM SOUNDGENERATOR.COM

After pulling through rumours of a split earlier this year, it seems electro-rockers Garbage might have finally decided to call it a day - with all European dates on their 2005 world tour now cancelled unexpectedly.

A statement released late yesterday (August 26) blames the band's heavy workload - in particular their continuous touring throughout 2005 - on the tour nix. However, the schedule fails to differ from that of a multitude of other touring acts, or indeed, any from the band's album promo tours in past years.

The statement reads as follows:

"It is with great regret that Garbage have decided to cancel their visit to France, Belgium and the UK in October. Having been constantly on the road since the beginning of March the band feel they have somewhat overextended themselves and have mutually decided to conclude their tour at the end of September in Australia. "

"The band wish to extend their apologies to all Garbage fans in the territories involved and thank them profusely for their support. All tickets will of course be refunded. "

Affected UK dates are:

October 2005

12 - Manchester Apollo
14 - Cardiff Arena
16 - Portsmouth Guildhall
17 - London Hammersmith Apollo
20 - Birmingham NIA
22 - Glasgow Academy
23 - Edinburgh Usher Hall

Tickets will be refunded in full from point of purchase.

I just have to say that Garbage is one hell of a kickarse band- they are absolutely awesome and just for the record- Their live performances go off and are much more rock than what you wld expect from their studio records. Shirley Manson is a legend and she rips up the stage. If there are any garbage fans checkin this out or anyone new to them, post away and if you haven't already chek out www.garbagediscobox.com -good stuff. I'm a bit bummed bout the whole 'hiatus' concept but good news is the possibility of Shirley working on a solo project to come out, which can't be bad news.
Anywho, Ciao! xoO
