Just to let you guys know that my old acquaintance Melanie Horsnell is due to release her debut album in Australia in the next couple of weeks! I have got an advance copy of the CD (it has already been released in Europe), and it is lovely (and just a little bit quirky) nu-folk showing influences from the Beatles and the like. She will tour Brizvegas soon, as well as doing some gigs in Sydney. Even if you don't like her music, go to one of her gigs anyway - she's the most generous person I have ever met! ;)
