Hey, has anyone managed to check this guy out? He is bloody amazing! Hes from Canada and is touring with Serena Ryder at the moment! I just bought his cd, and I think hes great! Really funny guy too!

so glad you got to see him perform and that you liked him. he's an amazing artist. i hope you'll check out his earlier stuff. i envy you the chance of getting to see him perform alone. i've only seen that once, when he was a special guest at a small venue concert. appart from that i've seen him play with his pianist as a duo, as a trio with more of his band members, or with his full band, The Wolves. he's without a doubt the most intense, mind blowing artist i've come across. i'm completely hooked. okay, i'll shut up now :P

'workman' he chose for himself
'hawksley workman' is his stage name/artist name :)
just like other musicians choose stage names that differ from their given names - like david bowie for instance.

and yes! please post some photos. us hawksley (and serena) fans are dying to hear about how serena and hawk are doing in australia. and come visit us in the soupkitchen as divadani says. welcome!

looking through a local street mag (Rip It Up), i noticed Lior is coming back to adelaide this month, and his support is none other than Hawksley Workman! thanks for putting me onto him Shenelle, i'm really enjoying his music, and will definately go to this show!
