Ok, so i have just found out some stuff which makes me happier.

Ever since Katherine Moennig stared in some half rate tv show pretending to be a boyyyyyy the question of her sexuality has taken over the minds of many many drooling lesbians.

Katherine Moennig was cast in the hit smash bang boom show The L Word, as a studley stag lesbian who did what she wanted. when she wanted and hoped no one would try and get too attached to her. this character is flippin awesome and so so so hot and makes a lot of people, gay straight and bisexual asking the question... is she gay? straight?! WHAT IS SHE!?

the l word has cast straightish actress' such as jessica biel and as far as im told Kathren Lombard. cant spell.

Katherine Moennig had said over time that her sexuality is her mix and everyone else can piss off. a lot of sightings in clubs around her home town have got people thinkin she digs chicks.. but heck, those people could be filthy little liars and we should all take turns slapping their heads together.

but right now, i am a happy happy happy chappy. Katherine Moennig is now with Portria D Rossi's ex girlfriend Francesca Gregorini. mmhmmmmmmm! mmmmmmmmmmm!hmmmmmm!!!!

And i dont think its that representative of the actual lesbian population , and for those in melb and have ever been to the glassy you know what i mean , everyone there is mostly butch girls there.

shane represents the "tom boy" of season 1. the show exposes people to all levels of the lesbian world in good time. in the second season we meet ivan the crossdresser/transvestite. in seasons 3 we meet moira whos a full blown dyke haha. as far as i can tell the first season is a good representation. jenny represents a whole stack of people so does bette and tina. dana represents a huge chuck and alice... lol alice.

but yeh they do have the "tom boy" in the first season and it's shane. ow.

You also have to remember that whilst it is not representative of the larger lesbian community, it is representative of the LA community. That's where this show is based (even though it's filmed in Vancouver), women on the LA scene tend to be more feminine than not. Of course there are lots of butch women out there but on the L Word it’s a familiar complaint. I do know they are introducing more butch characters into the show next season, one in particular that Jenny hooks up with…. But LA is like no other when it comes to the scene, like everywhere it has its own flavour. I’m sure Melbourne and Sydney do too, I know London does. Here the trendy butch look is all the rage, not so many femme women out there but in LA it’s more the opposite, at least that's my experience having spent a lot of time in LA.
