I have no idea how we started doing the song update thing. Sometime during 2003, we just decided people can SMS the songs to people on the computer. And look how fun it's turned out.

This thing wouldn't work for all the bands who don't vary their setlists from night to night. That's why it's so addictive.

the gorge - last kiss was played... and well that i wont back down isnt on the boot! hmpffff

ottawa - SK are on stage and well i dont think they are that good? they detract from the awesomeness that is pj in my view. otherwise a cracking gig

philly - last kiss was played - not that ive finished the gig yet, thats where i was up to and i was like this is such a killer show - and that song just isnt up there with the rest of em in my book lol... although this version sports a solid singalong that picks it up a notch in my book :)

My friend is a private friend of the band. We have this private group, with about 10 of us. She got an industry promotion disc from the band and put links on the group for us to download. Basically, this group was made so that what happens in there stays in there. Someone in this group breached this trust and spread the link around to others, through my main board on my site. The trust between us has gone out the window. We don't know who did it. Only that my friend is going to be in some trouble.

If you're only going for Kings of Leon, no doubt they'll have a side show in Sydney. PJ tickets are going for $110, and they'll sell out the Superdome within half an hour, and cause a meltdown on the Ticketek website. If you're lining up in person, you better get to the queue before midnight the night before.

Ten club, the fan club, started selling the best seats this morning to club members through their website. The site only takes visa or mastercard. My new visa card doesn't come in the mail till Tuesday, when the allocation might've been sold out already. So I had to find someone with a visa card, which none of my folks or mates seem to have. Then there's Tommo, el saviour extraordinaire. Now I won't have to risk waiting till Tuesday, and if that failed, to camp out this Thursday night at Ticketek. I'll drop by on Friday morning to lurk around for announcement of a second show, and pounce on that right away.
