I remeber living in a house with a park behind it. It was great, I would just spend hours after school just mucking about and doing silly things like climbing trees and chasing ducks (there was a pond too) and even eating bugs (hey I was 5!).

This is a story about an ordinary teddy bear. When he was made they found something wrong with him and threw him away, like a piece of rubbish, into an old dark store room. Then from outer space a spotty man brought him to life with his cosmic dust. He took him to a magic cloud where Mother Nature gave him special powers. That bear became... SuperTed!

Roger Ramjet and his Eagles
Fighting for our freedom
Fly through and in outer space
Not to join him but to beat him.
Roger Ramjet he's our man
Hero of our nation
For his adventure just be sure
And stay tuned to this station.
Come and join us all you kids
For lots of fun and laughter
As Roger Ramjet and his men
Get all the crooks they're after.

my best mate from primary school had this quilt once, that was an alphabet... like on the a there was an apple etc.... and we used to lay it out on her floor and pretend to be on amazing. it was so faaaaaanny.
then, we got all creative and like, i'd say to her, spell "edakerykryasdrjkuy". so fanny. and do u remember sometimes on the show, the kids would press the right button but it wouldn't light up...? like they didn't press it hard enough or something. so fanny, we used to do that too.

OK it is a classic but just didnt know if it was still the going rate so to speak.
what about those funny things they had on the abc in between programs? They were like these play-dough people who spoke some weird language....think it was a guy and a girl...... one was yellow I think?!?! I use to watch them whenever I was home sick

[QUOTE=row]omg ...t-bag and t-shirt...... what was that from???
ABC was definately the goods.
I just found it.... the actual show was called T-Bag.... it was about a young girl who had to hunt for missing letters around the neighbourhood (possibly further?). These were actual letters that I believe she would put together to form a word once she'd located them all.
There was also a lady (possibly a witch?), who had a young boy bring her a cup of tea, which she would look into and watch what the young girl was doing.
Pingu!!!
I remember going backpacking through scandinavia and I heard these old men on the bus speaking in that language.....it freaked me out..... I think Pingu is in Finish
t-bag.... hmm
Its coming back to me but I keep getting the memory confused with that show passions!?! weird but I think I remember the t-bag show
trap-door was another funky one.... I love play-dough things

Teeny weeny super guy.. or something? he was on breaks during sesame street or something. Used to hoon around on an egg beater? Around the kitchen?
And what about that family or plastacene (cant spell) people. No I dont mean gumby. Before his time. there was a blue man with a beard, a girl with a foil dress???
And what about that man that was a line... a hand was drawing a line and it would turn into a man walking up steps, or falling down running, what ever?
Remember?

this stuff is awesome;
super ted, amazing, agro’s cartoon connections, milo and otis, Alex Mack, old school Round The Twist. so many fond memories. I used to fully look up to Alex Mack and i used to wear my hat backwards to be like her, but she looks like such a little kid in that photo now!
what about Ghost Writer? (we dont know where he came from...he just showed up one day!) or Videit- that cool game show? and that couch potato show on saturday mornings where they’d do the Spud Review of Morris Gleitzmen books and stuff. Puddle lane was great as well, but there was a thread dedicated to that a while ago.
i wonder if little kiddies these days are going to be able to look back on tv with the same nostalgia when they grow up. like, High 5 and stuff. i just cant see new shows having the same sort of meaning that early 90s shows did.
omg! can someone else actually talk more about that show where they poured green slime on people? i never understood what was happening or why people were getting slimed, but i remember really liking that show.

damn you beat me. good that someone else remembers it but. i thought that was so cool, especially when they'd have Rallies at Jamal's house or Lenny's house. sailor moon-- was that the asian cartoon? I also liked that
the slime show---- remember how they'd make people eat REALLy really grose things..... I think they had like a quiz or something and if you got things wrong you got slimed or whatever......
What about that guy with the moustache and the deer stalker who use to talk to his mouse???? It was on the ABC....... I'd be really suprised if anyone else remembers that show.....its ancient.. ...... I think it was mainly on during week days for schools and stuff.....

I loved Alf, Bangers and Mash, Raggy Dolls (I think that's right...?), Banana Man, Captain Planet...and Play School. OMG my brother and I used to get so upset if we missed Play School! And of course we loved Round The Twist. It used to be on at 5pm, but that was when our dinner was always ready so we'd always miss the first 10 minutes of it. Man, one of the happiest days of my life was when we got a new TV and we moved our old one into the dining room LOL.
Music wise...Spice Girls, Hanson, John Farnham (yeah, I have nooo idea why ) and any other horrible pop music lol. All of those dodgy 90s one hit wonder pop groups. Ahh, brilliant :p.
I remember always eating vegemite sandwiches. I still love them now. If we had money we'd go to the corner store and buy warheads and ghostdrops. They actually banned both those lollies from my school. I never liked Milo, but I used to love strawberry NesQuik.
i had a deprived childhood. my mum wouldnt buy nutella. all the kids at school used to have nutella sandwhiches, and i would pretend that my vegemite was nutella, just to be cool.

And anyone remember Chip 'n' Dale the two lil chipmunks?? they were awesome i used to watch that show all the time
alf, captian planet, bangers and mash and chip 'n' dale was awesome as... its a shame they get rid of all the good shows... lol....

My childhood was eclectic.
I used to watch startrek with my parents (beat me with the geek stick now), And Dr WHO! I grew up with Queen, Cat stevens and the beatles. Then i got into silverchair, spicegirls (their still cool damn it- they were never meant to be taken as serious music! GIRLPOWER!) backstreetboys etc
My fav films were: Yellow submarine, muppet treasure island, Willy wonka and the chocolate factory (not charlie. the book and new movie are charlie. The marketing gimmick of the old film was willy wonka ;) ) Dragonheart james bon and indianna jones. I was sick of Bakc to the future, and still cant bear to watch it.
TV shows? Alex mack rocked my rocks. As did 'as told by clarrissa' or whatever that one was called (melissa joan hart, also known as sabrina teenage witch). I loved amazing, but timemasters never had the same charm. Carebears were cool. Rugrats were awesome (much better than the new shows) Playschool was cool. Blinkie bill!! I used to watch Gumby too... and 'whose afraid of the dark'
I played with polly pockets. i loved them. Had like, 22 of them. The new ones just dont cut it... the doll is almost the same size as the friggin old caseing. That and my lil pony. i had a few barbies, but polly pockets and starcastles were more my thing.
Books? What'd you read? I was into the babysitters club in a big way. And there was no going past the infamous genius of REoald dahl. still one of my favourite authors.
Ohhhhhh Who remembers 'trapdoor?'

Childhood eh?
1. The first time I binged, at 14, 15? Kissed a dog. Threw up for 3 hours.
2. Year 7 trip to Jenolan Caves. 30 of us packed inside a room for 3, watching Sex/Life. 12, 13 year olds, feeling horny for the first time. Pity it was a boys school.
3. 1989. Been in Aust for a few months. First game of rugby league, the grand final between Raiders and Tigers. Ohhhhh yeah. Go the Green Machine!

1. Going to see my old friends who lived down the street.
2. Breakin my arm in 3 different places. (ouch it was so friggin painful)
3. I dont know but there were things.
- My friend and I being scared shitless in my house at night, because the wood pattern on the hallway door looked like a face. We thought it was a ghost and used to scare ourselves so much we couldn't sleep.
- Another friend and I ate spaghetti for lunch then we played horse rides in the loungeroom. I was being the horse and she spewed up spaghetti all over me....I ran into the bathroom and jumped head first into the bath full of cold water!
- My friend and I telling our mum's we were getting fit riding to the beach every night. Instead we went halves a packet of cigarettes every night and sat down the beach and smoked the whole lot, then rode home feeling so sick with massive head spins!
and.... I actually went out with a tree in primary school... No joke... it was my boyfriend and I used to kiss it and recess and lunch.... I know I think I have problems ....

Once i did something wrong and i climbed a tree and got onto the roof of our house and my mum came outside looking for me, and all she could hear was me giggling, and she told me to get down. When i got down she had the wooden spoon out to smack my arse..when she swung to hit me i moved and she swung into the air. I got hit harder when she made contact and the wooden spoon broke on my arse and my mum cracked up laughing!!!
Probably around the same time i used to pack an old suitcase and tell mum i was going to Child services to report her and she used to ask if she should look the phone number up for me.
Hilarious when i look back!! those were the days...hehe (mum gets out of jail in 7 years...) ;)

Childhood memories.... *sigh*.... Enid Blyton Books seem to stand out and I remember climbing up to the top of my tree (at age 6) and envisaging I was amongst the clouds and visiting some far away place. Also, 'boxes' (activity kits) when I was in infants (yr1 from memory) was also something I enjoyed doing. Finally the bevvy of tv shows watched at an early age also stand out. Some which I can recall include... Puddle Lane, Trapdoor, Super Ted, Victor and Hugo, Sootie and friends and The Hunter. Oh and Voltron and GI JOE (videos and toys) were also cool :D.

one memory i have from when me and my sis were little and we used to take all mums fruit and veg out onto our driveway and make a little shop, and we would sell all of mums fruit to our neighbours! i don't know if they really wanted the fruit or if they felt sorry for us and just bought it cause of that! either way it was the good old days!

ah, how good are childhood memories!!
1. getting up at 6am on a saturday morning to watch all the cartoons on TV, then spending the rest of the days with my brothers climbing trees, building cubby's, or taking off on our BMX bikes and making new jumps etc
2. Being obsessed with Brendon from 90210 (haha..how sad. I loved him and my best friend loved dylan.......), and also obsessed with GOOSEBUMPS books
3. trying to pee off the verandah like a boy (cause my brothers were doing it) and failing...
good times!

i wish i was four again....
i remember playing out side with guns and have little battles with my bro and my imaginary friend
at dinner time i use to make mum set out an extra plate for my imaginary friend and i'd always say that she wasn't hungary when she didn't eat her dinner
i remember how i use to want to be a boy coz i had no friends that were girls
and this one time i ran off down the road & found some wire so i tried to engrave my name on a tree, it was next to the road an it was really obvious! so when my mum got home she went on and on about graffitee and how i was vandelising... but when my dad got home he told me to use a hammer and a chizzel so it'd go deeper and look better... mum wasn't happy
