Downloading stuff

Hey i was just wondering what programs people used to download things like music, t.v shows etc....also is the site you use free or do you have to pay?

i use mIRC to download tv shows and soulseek to download music (and if i like it i buy the album).
i sometimes use bit torrent to download live gigs or television shows i can't get on mIRC.

yes. limewire is easy to use, but a lot of the stuff you download from it is not very decent quality.

have you used it before? i ask because quite a few people find it difficult to use. it isn't. just takes some getting used to. anyways if you have any trouble etc send me a PM :)

depends on what i'm downloading. i use heaps of different servers and channels.
there's an awesome one for the o.c though. #theoc for discussion etc and #theoc-files for the triggers to download the eps. both on efnet.

i generally use limewire, but you cant always garantee what your downloading is safe, i also use winMX

and i agree hinny. they decide to take one company to court, but in the mean time shitloads of others are being developed.
