aahhh franti is amazing :) i seen him at bluesfest last year, was one of the best gigs i've seen!
apparently the new album will be out early next year.

Love them guys. Recorded their gig at Manning Bar earlier this year. Michael gave a shout out to all the people taking photos and making recordings. I was the only one doing the latter. Michael hung round after the show and waved me over. I had a chat with him about his trip to Iraq. I would've recorded that too, if my MD hadn't run out of batteries :(

They're stuck in OMA format, so if you don't have an MD or the SonicStage program, it won't work.
The quality's pretty shit anyway. I happened to stand amongst a group of talkers who talked right through the entire gig.

That, and I ran out of discs. 148 minutes wasn't enough. All up, they were on stage for like 4 hours. Michael showed a video he shot while he was on his trip and talked about it during the show.
yeah he si amazing
i also saw him at bluesfest this year but somehow i managed to get a few tickets to his acoustic gig at the great northen on like the only night he wasn't playing at the festival! he is so amazing!

That'd be right. Another brilliant gig for next Weds I'm missing out on. What is it about this date? 2 of my top 5 acts play a show in a great venue in Sydney, and I'm off away. I guess if I wasn't going away I can really only go to the one gig between Franti and Sigur Ros, but man, I'm so bummed. Franti acoustic.

na doubt it. apparently it would cost too much to get him on the bill, i'd say it'll be falls.
